How to order objects on the marketplace

Search, find and order objects on the internal or external marketplace in Loopfront

Objects can be ordered as a single order and in batches through our shopping cart solution.

1) Find the object(s) you want to order by sorting, filtering or searching on the marketplace.

2) You can add objects to your shopping cart either by:

- Hovering over a listing on the marketplace, and click on the shopping cart button.

- Click on any listing to read more, and here you will also see an "add to shopping cart"-button

- Select multiple objects by clicking on the "select(+)" button and select action: "add to cart"

Note: listings can be Available or Upcoming - which is simply the listing’s availability start date. If a listing is upcoming, you can place an order, but the object(s) might be available for pickup or delivery at a later date.

3) When you add objects to your cart, a pop-up window will appear, where you can view the objects currently in your shopping cart.

Here you can adjust the amount you want to order, remove the object(s) from your shopping cart, empty your cart, continue shopping, or go to checkout.

You can also also view your shopping cart later by clicking on the shopping-cart icon in the top at the left.

4) When clicking on "Checkout now" you will be sent to the shopping cart page.

Here you can also do adjustments in advance of the order placement, such as adding pcs and removing items. Estimated savings are shown for the shopping cart and can be assessed before completing the order.

5) When you are ready place the order, choose a destination and add placement.

Note: Your destination location must be added before placing an order, as you can only select pre-existing locations in the dropdown menu. If you cannot find the location you want to order your object(s) to, contact the admin of your organization.

If you fill out Placement (within location) in the order form, your input will replace the Current placement text once the order is complete and the object is transferred to its new location.

Screenshot 2026-02-02 at 13.30.33Depending on the listing, you will see whether the order can be delivered, has to be picked up or if you can choose.

You can also add references or order messages which will be sent to the seller. Read more here about communicating with the seller.

6) When all steps are done, click complete order to place the order.

7) Once you click complete order the order enters the first stage of the order flow: "Pending". As a confirmation, you are taken to an order receipt page. Note that the pending stage is the only time an order can be canceled. 

 

 

Tip: The order receipt page can be printed out directly in the browser! Be sure though, to do this before leaving the page.
