In this article, you get a simple step-by-step guide to how to use Loopfront, on high level.
To start a subscription, an organization must be created for your company in Loopfront. You can easily do this yourself, or you can ask Loopfront to do it (see more on the Sign-up page).
Once this has been done, a location must be created for the building where a survey is to be done or where building materials, furniture or fixtures are to be registered for other reasons (see more on the Create location page).
When you register a product, it ends up in the inventory of the location where you registered the product. Note that the product is not available for others via the marketplace before you have created a listing for it (see more on the Add material page).
When you have registered something that is reusable and that you no longer need yourself, you can create an advertisement (a listing) for this product immediately after registration. The listing can also be created at a later time by accessing the relevant registered product via the inventory for the relevant location.
When you create a listing, you can choose whether you want to advertise on the internal and/or external marketplace.
When advertising on an internal marketplace, the listing will only be visible to others in your own organisation. When advertising on the external marketplace, the ad will also be visible to other Loopfront customers (see more on the Listings page).
You can go to the marketplace and use the filtering function to search for listed items.
When you find something you want to buy, you add it to your shopping chart before you go ahead and check out/complete your purchase (see more on the Marketplace page).
The item then goes through an order flow, where the last step is for you as the buyer to confirm that the item has been received (see more on the Order flow page).
Transport and payment are agreed between seller and buyer. This can be done through the chat function that is available to the buyer and seller, related to the individual order.
When the order has been completed, savings related to finances, waste and climate footprint are reflected in the reports you can find on the report page (see more on the Reports and Insights page).
