How to register and survey products in Loopfront
To register a product, click on the "Add material"-button in the top right corner of the inventory, or in the quick menu to the left.
A "product registration" guide will appear. Click through the guide to learn more. When you get the idea of how it words and don't want to see the guide again, click on the box "don't show this again" before you click on "Let's begin".
Tips: Take sharp and bright photos from different angles for best results.
Detail as much information as possible about the item to avoid questions from buyers.
Attach QR stickers to your objects to keep track of where they are at all times.
The first thing you need to do to register a product is to take a photo. If you are surveying on a mobile device, click to open you camera and take a photo of the product. You can also upload an existing photo.
When you have taken or uploaded a photo, click on the "Continue button." The system will now search for matches in your organizations inventory based on the image you have uploaded.
If the system finds any matches to your photo, it will suggest similar products.
Now you can do either of the following (click on any of the three options below to go to the section in this article)

Register an exact product match
If you see an exact match to the product you are registering, click on it to auto-fill the information about the product you are registering.
1. Make sure that all the information is correct. If you see that there has been provided any wrong information on the product previously surveyed, you can update this. 
2. You can also add additional information-fields to the product you are registering, by clicking on the "Add more fields" in the bottom of the registration form. Chose which fields you would like to include and click on "Add fields".
3. Click on "confirm match" to continue. You will now register your objects. Click here to read more about how to register objects further down in this article.
Register a similar product to a match
If you see a match that is quite similar to the product you are registering, but some information is different (for instance same model, but different dimensions or colour) click on it to auto-fill the information about the product.
1. Make sure to change the information that is different.
2. If you change any of the information, a pop-up message will appear to inform you that "You have changed some details and this no longer matches the product you selected as a match. Revert changes to keep match or "continue anyway" and we will create a new product."
3. You can also add additional information-fields to the product you are registering, by clicking on the "Add more fields" in the bottom of the registration form. Chose which fields you would like to include and click on "Add fields".
4. Click on "confirm match" to continue. You will now register your objects. Click here to read more about how to register objects further down in this article.
Register a new product (without match)
If there are no similar matches to the product you are registering, you will have to register a new product.
1. Click on "Skip matches" to fill inn info about the product you are surveying.
2. Add information about the product by filling in the fields in the registration form. You will automatically get suggestions for colour, category and also automatic CO2-footprint-estimate for certain categories.
3. You can also add additional information-fields to the product you are registering, by clicking on the "Add more fields" in the bottom of the registration form. Chose which fields you would like to include and click on "Add fields".
4. When you have filled out info about the new product, click on "continue". You will now register your objects. Read more about how to register objects in the next part of this article.
Register objects
Once you have registered your product, you register the individual objects. A product represents a group of objects that are similar.
1. Click on "Let's begin" to continue.
2. Choose whether you want to register single objects or register objects in bulk.
Single - Register objects with different condition, locations, individual QR codes, placement, etc.
Register in bulk - Register multiple objects at once as long as they all have the same properties, such as condition and location, etc.
If you are registering objects in bulk: Select the number of objects and add information, such as condition and location. You can also add additional details such as current placement, year of manufacture, remaining life, reusability level, and current value, by clicking "Add more fields".
If you are registering single objects: Add information about your first object, such as condition, location, or add a QR code. You can also add additional details such as current location, year of manufacture, remaining life, reusability level, ID number, and current value, by clicking "Add more fields".
If you are registering single objects and want to add more objects with a different property, such as condition etc, click "Add object #2". The location you entered for the first object will automatically be filled in for the next objects you register.
3. Once you have registered the correct amount of objects, click "Continue".
4. The new product has been created. You can click on "view in inventory", use the "Share" button to get an url to share with your coworkers, or click on "Add product" to continue registering more products.
