Basic statuses of objects
The basic fundamental statuses for reuse in Loopfront is included in all subscriptions. All surveyed objects in inventory will have a "not specified" status until the objects are listed on marketplace or ordered.
Listed - When objects have been listed on internal or external marketplace, the status will automatically be updated to "Listed". This means that the object has an active listing on the marketplace, and has not yet been ordered.
Specific actions may not be possible for your selected object(s) if any of them are already listed on the marketplace. You cannot create a listing, change status, move or remove an object that is already listed on the marketplace (to carry out these actions, you would have to first remove the listing on the marketplace).
Ordered - When objects listed on internal or external marketplace have been ordered by someone, the status will automatically be updated to "ordered". You cannot create a listing, change status, move or remove an object that is already listed on the marketplace (to carry out these actions, you must first either complete the order, or cancel the order and remove the listing from the marketplace). When the order is completed, the object will automatically be updated to a "not specified"-status.
Planning statuses (add-on feature)
Loopfront offers additional statuses for planning as an add-on feature, such as "In use", "For relocation", "For repair" and "For recycling". These statuses functions as a planning-feature for objects, which can be used as a tool for i.e architects / interior architects or facility managers for planning relocation, repair, redesign and consideration of surplus objects that will be recycled.
If you want to test out the planning status-feature, your organizations admin can contact support@loopfront.com.
In use - If the object is marked as "in use", this means that the object is currently being used by someone in your organization, and cannot be listed or moved, until the status is changed. You can still remove / delete the object from your inventory.
For relocation - This status can be used as a tool for i.e architects / interior architects or facility managers to plan which objects could be moved where. The "For relocation"-status can also work as a reservation-functionality in inventory, where users in the project-team can temporary "book" objects for consideration in a project. Unlike the "move"-functionality, which updates the current placement of the object, the "For relocation"-status only shows which location the object(s) are planned to be moved to, but the current placement remains in the object overview.
When updating the status to "For relocation", the user choses which location they want to consider the object moved to, and can add an additional comment about the status update. Other users can then click on the "For relocation"-status in the object-overview-list to see who "reserved" the object, and their additional comment to the status update. When an object has the "For relocation"-status, its not possible to move or list the object on the marketplace.
For repair - This status can be used as a tool for planning repair or redesign. When updating the status to "For repair", the user can add an additional comment about the type of repair / redesign that is considered for the object(s).
Other users can then click on the "For relocation"-status in the object-overview-list to see who updated the status and their additional comment to the repair / redesign. When an object has the "For repair "-status, its not possible to move or list the object on the marketplace.
For recycling - Objects that don't have potential for reuse, redesign or reparation and are considered to be thrown away, can be marked as "For recycling". You can add a comment or instruction to those who will be handling the objects for recycling. When the object(s) have been sent to recycling, they can be deleted from inventory, by clicking on the "Actions"-button and choosing the option "Remove".
