Set assigned contact to all products & objects, and listings of a location
You can assign a user / email address as a collection inbox for notifications on marketplace listings, order messages, etc. under each individual location.
The assigned contact will then be set as contact person for all listings and products registered on this location. This functionality is especially useful for locations managed by specific users - i.e storages.
Go to the "Settings"-tab on a location, and turn on the "Assigned contact" button.
Here you can select a user from the drop down menu, or type to search. The location settings will then be updated.
Note: Only users with the user role Administrator or Member appear as an option.
The options are linked to the user list, so if you have i.e a storage-email that you want to attach to your storage location, you must create a separate user for this (and set it as Member or Admin).
If you select a member as the assigned contact, the creator and contact person for all objects and listings at this location will be overwritten. This means that the user information for the person who registered and the person who created listings at the location where it is overwritten will disappear. This can be useful in cases where a surveyor has completed their assignment, but are not responsible of the surveyed objects after.
If ownership is turned off, the original information about the person who registered and the person who advertised will return.
