How to ask a question to the seller
If you want to ask a question to the seller about a listing on the marketplace, click on the "Ask Seller"-button on the top right corner of the listed ad.
Note: the question sent through the "Ask seller"-functionality will be visible to all Loopfront-users on the marketplace so that everyone can get access to information about the listing. If you want to purchase the product and have questions about delivery etc... you can also contact the seller directly through order notes after ordering the listed product.
When clicking on the "Ask seller" button, a slide-in window will appear to the right. If someone has already asked a question on the listing you will see them here. To ask a question, click on the button "Ask a question" below.
Write your question in the text box and click on the "Send"-button below.
You will now see your question in the overview of questions sent to the seller. When the seller has replied to your question, you will be notified by email and in the Loopfront platform. Click on the notification bell to see the response.
Click on "view" next to the notification to see more.
How to reply to questions about your listings on the marketplace
If someone ask a question on one of your listings on the marketplace, you will be notified by email and in the Loopfront platform.
Here you will see which listing the question is asked on and the question you have received. Click on "reply" to answer the question. You will now be taken to the "Ask Seller" section in the Loopfront platform. Click on the arrow button next to the question you would like to reply to.
Write your reply in the text box below and click "Send".
Your reply to the question will now be visible for all Loopfront-users in the "Ask Seller"-section of your listing on the marketplace.
Settings for notifications about questions asked to the seller
On the settings page for your user account, you can edit which notifications you want to receive in connection with questions asked to the seller. You can choose to turn on notifications in the platform (In app) and / or by email for the following notifications:
Questions about your listings - Notifications for new questions about your listings.
Questions about all listings you have access to - Notifications for new questions about all listings you have access to (can edit) in your organization's system.
Answers to your questions - Notifications for new answers to questions you've asked about listings.
